The 52 gigawatt cap in the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) has only just been scrapped, but now the German solar industry is already facing new challenges: The recent draft of the EEG 2021 contains various amendments, which could bring about some drastic changes, especially for the building photovoltaics market. The draft law will be debated in parliament at the end of October and is expected to come into force at the beginning of 2021.

In this webinar, the German Solar Industry Association (BSW-Solar) will give a clear overview of the key changes that the amendments to the EEG are expected to bring for the PV market in Germany and will address the industry’s main demands for improving the draft law.
