Large Storage Systems - The Boosters in the Network of the Future?

Free Webinar

Tuesday, October 19, 2021 | 11:00am–12:00am CEST | Webinar Language: German

Storage systems have meanwhile become firmly established in the private sector. Well over half of the PV systems are now combined with storage systems.

For the energy transition, however, grid-friendly large storage systems are also needed in order to be able to keep the grids stable as the proportion of fluctuating renewable energies increases. But do these large storage systems pay off, what business models are behind them? Hans Urban, industry expert in the field of PV and large storage systems, will give insights in this webinar and will also compare German business models with current developments in other countries.

During the webinar participants can submit their questions to get them answered by the experts in the live Q&A. In addition, both the recording and the speakers' presentations are made available to all registrants after the webinar.

Speaker

Hans Urban, Expert and Advisor Renewable Energies & E-Mobility

After studying electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich, which he completed in 1989, Hans Urban gained decades of experience in leading positions in the electronics and solar industries. Since 2017 he has been working as a freelance consultant in the field of renewable energies and electromobility and advises storage and solar companies, regional energy providers and municipalities. His personal aim is to bring the topic of renewable energies closer to as many people as possible in a neutral, technically sound and sometimes entertaining way!
