Sebastian Lahmann is the head of the Team Implementing at the National Centre for Charging Infrastructure.
The National Centre for Charging Infrastructure, operating under the roof of the federally owned NOW GmbH, coordinates and manages activities to expand the charging infrastructure for battery electric vehicles in Germany on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport (BMDV). As Team Lead Implementing, Mr. Lahmann is particularly involved in the technical foundations of the funding programs initiated by the BMDV and the tendering of the 'Deutschlandnetz' (Germany-wide electric high-power-charging network). He, along with his team, analyses and defines the technical requirements for the overall charging infrastructure system and oversees the regulatory framework. The scope of application ranges from the energy supply network to charging equipment and extends to the vehicle itself. The focus is on charging infrastructure for both passenger cars and heavy duty vehicles.
