Grid Leader with 32+ years of international experience in Power Grid sector covering, transmission & distribution including the latest technological resources employed in today's grid to meet the energy transition with renewable resources. Sankara holds 17 International Granted patents. He is very active member of Cigre, PSRC WG committees. Sankara has authored and presented 70+ combined conference papers and Journals over the last 20 years.

Mr Clerens studied law at the University of Saarbrücken and the University of Mainz. Since 1996, he has worked as a consultant for a private company specialising in European Affairs in Brussels. In his capacity as Brussels Representative of different European associations, he has been involved in the climate and energy field since 2003. He has managed the EASE office in Brussels as Secretary General since its establishment in September 2011. Since then, EASE has grown from the initial 13 founding members to over 70 and is still growing rapidly.

Marcel Schepers is product manager for flexibility marketing within EnBW Trading and the virtual power plant of EnBW and in this role responsible for the battery marketing business and offered range of services. He has deep expertise and insights about the flexibility markets, especially in Germany. Before he joined EnBW Trading, he formerly served as a consultant for the German energy industry and was part at the generation department of EnBW where he was involved in the development of large-scale battery projects.
