The further development of distribution grids is essential to meet the requirements of the energy transition. This session explores current challenges as well as technological and practical solutions for building a resilient and future-proof energy system. The focus is on concrete examples of fully dynamic, grid-supporting storage systems at critical grid nodes, as well as the future role of industrial facilities as active grid participants and stabilizing anchors in an increasingly cellular energy system.
