Digitalization and renewable energies offer up-and-coming companies the opportunity to use innovative ideas to gain a foothold in the market and play an active role in shaping the energy transition. As the continent’s largest platform for the energy industry, The smarter E Europe is the ideal place for start-ups to present their products and solutions. There, they can forge contacts with established companies and investors, develop business relationships with national and international energy experts and recruit the right employees.
Visitors to Europe’s largest platform for the energy industry will therefore also have the opportunity to get to know many start-ups with diverse offerings and business models. For example, the Dutch company Profloating b.V. will be presenting its solutions for floating photovoltaic installations. ZnR Batteries SAS from France will show off the zinc-air battery it has developed for use in stationary systems. German start-ups are also represented: B.E.I. – Berliner Energieinstitut GmbH will be displaying an energy meter with a three-phase data logger for determining electrical energy consumption, mondas GmbH will present an IOT web platform for gathering and analyzing data from energy installations and production facilities and Teleseo GmbH will introduce its smart metering points for electric and gas connections.
The smarter E Europe offers start-ups a whole series of opportunities to introduce themselves to the solar industry. For instance, Business Speed Dating gives start-ups the opportunity to establish business relationships with national and international energy experts and find suitable project partners and investors in the form of eight-minute “speed dating” slots. And the Founders’ Breakfast will be taking place on the third day of the exhibition. Additionally, young companies will have the chance to apply for a ten-minute presentation slot in the Start-up Arena.
Competing for The smarter E AWARD, Intersolar AWARD and ees AWARD is a particularly advantageous way to stand out. Last year, the two start-ups mondas and Raycatch each won one of the renowned innovation prizes. After the award ceremony, Raycatch’s Head of Marketing, Efrat Ofman, noted an increased number of visitors to her exhibition booth. She concludes that “for start-ups, the investment is definitely worth it. We look forward to taking part in future Intersolar Europe exhibitions.”
