Optimizing large-scale battery storage projects: From colocation with solar to bankability considerations? (in English)
Our first panel will examine the technical and financial considerations of co-locating solar and battery storage projects. We'll delve into best practices and actionable solutions aimed at maximizing performance and enhancing revenues - from navigating complex technical integration and regulatory hurdles to strategies for unlocking the commercial potential of battery energy storage projects.

In the second panel, we'll turn our attention to battery storage offtake and finance. We'll take a closer look at the rapidly changing landscape of battery storage offtake models, weighing the pros and cons of options ranging from purely merchant to tolling and hybrid PPAs. This session will also feature discussions with capital providers, exploring their willingness to back projects with different levels of merchant exposure - and how developers can tap into these financing opportunities.

Session 2 | 3 pm - 5 pm
Optimizing energy at home: High self-consumption, smart interfaces, and profitable market integration (in German)
This Session will zoom in on German residential and C&I markets. We'll focus the discussion on the role of home energy management systems and new features being introduced in 2025. This also feeds into the integration of batteries, heat pumps, electric vehicles, and other components and their potential participation in energy markets. We will also provide a full overview of the systems and solutions currently available on the market.
