Please join us for a lunch-meeting to formally launch the Agrivoltaics Task Force of the Global Solar Council. The event will present the objectives of the Task Force to raise the profile of Agrivoltaics as an up-and-coming solution for energy, food & water challenges under accelerating climate change as well as a business opportunity for the solar & agricultural sector alike.

We will seek input from the discussion to further refine a work plan and encourage membership from interested companies from a broad range of players across and beyond the solar industry. To ensure a holistic perspective on Agrivoltaics, we explicitly also invite farmers and food industry actors to join the discussion.

The event will be chaired by Alyssa Pek, Strategy Director of the GSC and Phillip Kunze of Nextpower, who serves as Chairman of the Agrivoltaics Task Force in its inaugural term. Jochen Hauff, Ambassador for Agrivoltaics for the GSC, will introduce the draft work plan. An open discussion with representatives from solar and agriculture will follow. We round off the event with an outlook on further events by Florian Wessendorf, Solarpromotion as well as information by Lennart van Walsum, Director EMEiA & Americas of the GSC, about options to join the work going forward.
