This guided tour provides a holistic overview of how demand-side flexibility is technically implemented and economically leveraged today. It illustrates how flexibility from generation and consumption-ranging from industrial loads to battery storage systems and generation assets-can be aggregated, automated, and integrated into multiple market applications. Practical use cases illustrate how peak shaving, participation in ancillary services and flexibility markets, and the grid-supportive generation of recurring revenues can be effectively combined. In addition, the tour explains how scalable connectivity and software solutions enable the activation and integration of flexibility from individual assets as well as entire portfolios. At the tour stops, Energy2Market GmbH, gridX GmbH, and Siemens Energy will present their solutions. The tour will be conducted in English and concludes at the Renewables 24/7 special exhibition in Hall C5.
