Messe München – A Sustainable Exhibition Venue

The smarter E Europe has been held at the Messe München exhibition grounds since 2008. Messe München boasts one of the world’s largest and longest-running roof-mounted photovoltaic systems as well as advanced architecture, making it a benchmark for a more sustainable future since its move to a new site in 1998.

Within the scope of the venue’s sustainability program, Messe München continually puts targeted measures in place to meet high sustainability standards both now and in the future. These include switching to carbon neutral energy sources, making ecological upgrades to the site and implementing measures for waste prevention and disposal.

The exhibition grounds feature a whole host of sustainable solutions.
