AWARDs Special: These Innovations are Driving the Emobility and Solar Industries

The smarter E Podcast Episode 135 | May 31, 2023 | Language: German

Electromobility is booming and bursting with innovations. The same has been true for the photovoltaic and solar industries since before yesterday. While the Intersolar AWARD, the innovation award for the solar industry has been presented annually since 2008, the Power2Drive AWARD is celebrating its premiere this year. But what innovations are there to marvel at this year in concrete terms? What trends are emerging? And what about the integration of PV and e-mobility? The two jury members Markus Emmert, Chairman of the Bundesverband eMobilität and Prof. Dr. Michael Powalla, Member of the Board of the Zentrum für Sonnenenergie- und Wasserstoff-Forschung Baden-Württemberg ZSW, will tell us.

Timeline:

  • 1:12 What are the latest innovations and technologies that have emerged in photovoltaics over the past year and how do they affect the efficiency and cost of solar installations?
  • 4:02 What new trends are emerging in electromobility and what impact will they have on the adoption and diffusion of electric vehicles?
  • 8:20 Who are the 2023 finalists and with what products and special features could they stand out?
  • 19:06 Are there any new concepts or models that promote the integration of photovoltaics and electromobility, for example solar carports, solar smart charging or bidirectional charging systems?
