The workshop, organised by ETIP SNET,entitled "AI & GenAI in Smart Grids" will delve into the integration of artificial intelligence and generative AI into smart grids, with a focus on Central Europe. Experts will present cutting-edge advancements, best practices, and real-world applications, showcasing how these technologies can optimise grid management, enhance flexibility, and improve overall system efficiency. A key focus of the event will be the work of ETIP SNET, with the dissemination of its strategic recommendations to support the widespread adoption of AI and GenAI in smart grids. Speakers will address technical, regulatory, and market-related challenges, offering insights into the necessary steps to accelerate deployment. The workshop will bring together include European Commission representatives, TSOs, DSOs, ICT providers, utilities, research and innovation organisations, national ministries and regulators, energy agencies, and funding bodies.
