Our Utility Peer Exchanges are interactive small-group discussions designed exclusively for energy suppliers and grid operators. Each session begins with a brief, practical keynote presentation by an energy supplier or grid operator, followed by an open exchange on practical challenges, lessons learned, and best practices in real-world operations. The focus is on honest dialogue among like-minded peers rather than formal presentations.
This Utility Peer Exchange will explore how new technologies enable faster grid connections. As demand for grid connections for renewable energy continues to grow, distribution system operators are under increasing pressure to ensure faster and more efficient grid access. In this Peer Exchange session, Dr. Enno Wieben from EWE Netz GmbH will report on how EWE Netz is addressing this challenge through innovative approaches to grid planning, improved transparency, and pragmatic operational strategies. The session offers first-hand insights into how the growing pressure on distribution grids can be managed in a forward-looking and practical manner.
