Tunisia is positioned as a reliable partner for sustainable energy in the Mediterranean region. The country has exceptional natural resources, especially solar and wind, which makes it attractive for large-scale renewable energy projects.
Tunisia is also strategically located between Europe and Africa which offers good opportunities for regional energy exchange and trade.
Since 2015, the country has proved strong commitment to the energy transition. This includes fixing clear renewable energy targets, improving regulations and infrastructure.
With a rising number of solar projects, Tunisia is becoming an attractive destination for international investors looking for impactful energy opportunities.
To advance further the investment climate in the energy sector, The Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy (MIME) in collaboration with GIZ Tunisia, organize an investment-focused round table aiming to:

  • Provide a platform for international investors to gain insights into the Tunisian energy market and investment framework
  • Build strong partnerships with international investors
  • Promote current and future tenders
