The Utility Guided Tour on bidirectional charging offers a concise overview of the latest developments and practical applications of this key technology for the energy transition. During the tour, you will visit the stands of Power2Drive exhibitors Zaptec, EcoG and The Mobility House. You will learn how bidirectional charging is already being implemented technically today, what role regulatory frameworks and standardisation play in ensuring interoperability, and how charging infrastructure will develop in the future. The focus is on the integration of electric vehicles into buildings and power grids, the smart control of charging infrastructure, and the use of vehicle batteries as flexible energy storage. The aggregation and marketing of this flexibility on the energy market will also be examined. The tour provides insights into real-world projects and demonstrates how scalable energy solutions emerge from individual applications.
