The content can be understood as an 'envelope' for existing standards and regulations (Eurocodes\, trade-specific rules\, etc.)\, supplemented by several new provisions that specifically concern ballasted systems. It is intended to improve the quality of solar systems from a structural engineering perspective\, but also entails additional work for planners.
