As the world's largest purchaser, the United Nations buys nearly worth 30 billion US dollars of goods and services annually. Due to climate change and the energy crisis, energy production is a central issue in UN procurement as never before. This offers good business opportunities for German companies from numerous sectors. In 2021, Germany contributed to the total procurement volume of the United Nations in the amount of 365.82 million US dollars. German companies that manufacture or offer products or services with a focus on decentralized energy production are invited to apply for one-to-one meetings with buyers from the UN organizations participating in the delegation trip.
